Re-Tire recycled rubber
The "Re" in Re-tire is the recycled content of both post-consumer and post-industrial waste used in various proportions in the Re-tire color lines. The "Tire" is SBR synthetic rubber made from old tire scrap. The Re-tire collection from Capri includes Medley, Kaleidoscope, The Basics and Shades of Black, offered in rolls and tiles, in 4, 6 and 9 mm thickness. Re-tire contributes to LEED credits. Percentages of post-consumer and post-industrial waste content are not the same for all 43 Re-Tire colors.  Document RT404 in the document library lists recycled percentages by individual color.

JUNE 2008 THE MEDLEY COLLECTION IS ADDED TO RE-TIRE.  As the name implies, the Medley Collection 'mixes it up' with combinations of recycled tire waste, post-industrial rubber waste, virgin rubber, plus post-industrial CORK waste.  All colors in Medley have cork content which adds interesting textural variations and a whole new look in recycled rubber.
