Capri cork Featured on Public TV
Capri cork is featured on a segment of the National Environmental Report series. National Environmental Report is an information series, aired on Public Television, with the objective to inform and educate the public on issues related to the environment. Hugh Downs hosts the National Environmental Report and the segments are used to fill gaps between regularly scheduled Public Television programs.
The National Environmental Report segment featuring Capri is an informational piece about cork flooring and includes images from the cork forest and manufacturing of cork flooring. Also featured on the segment is a Capri cork installation at A Classic Touch Spa and Salon in Lebanon, PA. Salon owner Brian Keeney along with Architect Kip Kelly of Nest Architecture, who designed the salon, and Lee Allwein of Allwein Carpet One, whose company installed the cork at the salon, are all included in the segment. Besides offering educational information about cork flooring and great installation images of cork floors, the segment also highlights the other environmental flooring products offered by Capri cork.
In addition to being shown on Public Television, abbreviated versions of the National Environmental Report segment, which do not include host Hugh Downs, will be shown on national cable news networks. A composite of the Public Television and national cable news network versions of the show, without Hugh Downs, is available for viewing on the home page of Capri cork’s website: http://www.capricork.com/Capri_movie.asp as well as on both You Tube and Google Video.
Additional press releases will be sent when we know the airing schedule for both Public Television and the cable news networks.
Capri cork continues to be recognized not only for innovative products, patterns and colors, but as illustrated by this segment of the National Environmental Report, Capri is looked to as a leader in educating the public on the features and benefits of environmental flooring products.
